MOTIVE: Make them feel seen and appreciated.
The primary goal of a Montessori program is to help each child reach their full potential in all areas of life through activities that promote the normalized development of social skills, emotional growth, and physical coordination as well as cognitive preparation for future intellectual academic endeavors.
Our open day offers all prospective parents and visitors an insightful opportunity to gain first-hand experience of our school and decipher the environment where their kids spend most of their day and the company which they keep. Thereby, aiding the development of a trustful relationship between the parents, the kids, and the school/staff. This serves as a vital means for cultivating an ongoing and mutually supportive relationship between staff and parents.
As we all know, it isn’t enough to send our kids to school every morning. One important aspect of parenting and guardianship is providing them with the care they need to be happy and healthy, and to grow and develop well. Although some parents sometimes lack information and the support that they need for good parenting, leaving kids in an educational institution only serves as an added advantage and that’s one reason why all parents and guardians are strongly advised to visit during occasional activities especially on open days. These occasional activities make their wards feel seen and appreciated.
